VALLEJO, Calif. — Peru has extradited a Vallejo man, who is a suspect in a 2013 murder.
The Solano County District Attorney's Office had filed a murder charge against William Cordoba, aka William Johnson, in April 2013.
The charge was related to February 2013 incident, where Vallejo police responded to the area of Borges Street and Evelyn Circle regarding a man down. At the time, arriving officers found 27 year old Jimmie Richardson dead of gunshot wounds.
Cordoba would eventually be arrested in the City of Lima, Peru in March 2014, where he was facing local charges on an unrelated case in Peru.
On April 5, 2019, Cordoba was extradited to the United States and booked into Solano County Jail.
