A plane crashed into a home in South Lake Tahoe, California on Saturday night.
Officials said Sunday morning it is unknown whether the crash is responsible for any casualties.
In a press release, city of South Lake Tahoe spokesperson Tracy Franklin said the plane crashed shortly after takeoff from Lake Tahoe Airport just after 5:40 p.m.
Franklin said witnesses saw the plane clip a tree as it crashed near the corner of Tionontati Street and Ofling Drive in South Lake Tahoe, starting a small fire that was quickly extinguished.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesperson Allen Kenitzer said the plane crashed into a house on the 1600 block of Tionontati Street.
No information about potential injuries has been released at this time.
