Nevada County Election Results: Where the races stand so far

The first wave of results in Nevada County will come in at 8 p.m. on election night.

NEVADA COUNTY, Calif. — Election night is finally here for Nevada County. Among the races are contests that could shape the Nevada County Board of Supervisors and Nevada City Council. People will also cast their votes for Measures A, B and C.

The first wave of results will come in at 8 p.m. on election night. These will be the Vote by Mail and Vote Center ballots that are processed before Election Day.

Reports will be released every two hours until all the Vote Centers have reported and the unofficial election night report is issued. These will be the Election Day votes.

The elections office told ABC10 the office will continue to count ballots starting March 7 and will post the results to its website on Fridays and Tuesdays until all ballots are counted.

Updates will get spread out further after election night until the vote is certified.

► Key Dates: According to the California Secretary of State’s office, vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked by March 5 and arrive at county elections offices by March 12. The last day for county election officials to certify the primary election results is April 4.
