Authorities say the 23-year old was taking photos near the American River confluence in Auburn with his fiancee before he fell into the river.

Authorities say search and rescue teams have found the body of a man who fell into the American River Sunday evening.

23-year old Andy Odon Ortega Fonseca, of Sacramento, was found deceased Monday afternoon.

According to the Placer County Sheriff's Office, the 23-year old was believed to have been taking photos near the American River confluence in Auburn with his fiancee around 7 p.m. Sunday evening. He fell into the river near No Hands Bridge and wasn't able to get out of the fast moving water.
