FAIRFIELD, Calif. — The Aquinas Falcons (San Bernardino) are battling the Vanden Vikings (Fairfield) for a chance at the Division III State Championship.
Like other high school football programs across the country, the Falcons' previous season came to a disappointing end due to the COVID-19 virus. Sadly, the part of the season that they did get to play was nothing to smile about.
The Falcons started last season 0-3. The Falcons have not had a losing season since 2014-15 when they finished the season 4-5-1. Led by head coach Jordan Brusig, the Falcons enter the championship game with an undefeated record in their league and an 11-5 overall record.
Yesterday, the Folsom Bulldogs faced off against the Cathedral Catholic Dons in Mission Viejo for a chance at the Division 1-AA state championship.
