SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco Giants called up former Jesuit high star Andrew Susac for his first appearance in the major leagues.
Catcher Susac will replace Hector Sanchez who was placed on the 7-day disabled list after suffering a concussion during Friday's game against the Dodgers.
In 63-games with the Triple-A Fresno Grizzlies, Susac was batting .268 with 10 home runs and 32 RBI. He was selected the Pacific Coast League All-Star Team.
