MODESTO, Calif. — The St. Mary's Rams defeated the Central Catholic Raiders in Modesto Friday night, 27-14.
The Raiders were looking for their second win of the season, and the Rams were looking to get their first. Central Catholic has won two state titles. St. Mary's has not won a state title but had many playoff appearances.
Both teams were competing for the Monsignor William M. Burke Memorial Bowl Trophy. But it was the Rams who came out on top.
Central Catholic has 3 alumni players in the NFL, however, 2 are active.

Johnny Mundt: Minnesota Vikings
St. Mary's Stockton had 4 alumni players that made it into the NFL, no players are currently active.
