TORRANCE, Calif. — The Woodland Christian High School football team won the state championship Saturday 31-13.
The undefeated Woodland Christian High School Cardinals took on the Banning High School Pilots from Wilmington in the California Division 5-A title game at 3 p.m. on the campus of El Camino College in Torrance.
Banning's record is 9-6.
Woodland Christian High School advanced to the state title game by beating the Orland High School Trojans 28-0.
