Kings' DeMarcus Cousins named Western Conference Player of the Week

Cousins' averaged 32.5 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.5 blocks in just 36.3 minutes per game, according to a press release published by the Kings.

Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins was named NBA Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday, after helping the Kings go on a 3-1 winning streak.

Cousins' averaged 32.5 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.5 blocks in just 36.3 minutes per game, according to a press release published by the Kings.

Cousins also recorded double-doubles in three of the last four games, and recorded 30 or more points in each of the last three Kings' wins.

He also scored a season-high 40 points against the Brooklyn Nets, helping the Kings win the game 111-109 on Nov. 13.

This is the third time that Cousins was named Western Conference Play of the Week. He was named player of the week on Jan. 13, 2014 and Nov. 24, 2014.
