MISSOULA, Mont. — The UC Davis Aggies put on a dominant performance against the Montana Grizzlies on the road Saturday night.
Aggies quarterback Miles Hastings threw for three touchdowns and 227 yards in the team's 30-14 victory over the Grizzlies. UC Davis extends its winning streak to nine games and remains unbeaten against Big Sky Conference opponents.
Saturday's victory improves the Aggies to 9-1 overall and 6-0 in the Big Sky Conference.
The win sets up a pivotal Big Sky matchup against the undefeated Montana State Bobcats in Davis next Saturday at 5 p.m.
Montana State enters the matchup at 10-0 overall and 6-0 in conference play.

The UC Davis Aggies and Montana University Grizzlies will go head-to-head at 7:15 p.m. Saturday in Montana.
Both teams are entering week five of Big Sky Conference play. The Aggies are looking to get their ninth straight win of the season.
The Aggies are now 8-1 overall and 5-0 in Big Sky Conference play. This is the first time since 2021 that the Aggies have been undefeated in the Big Sky Conference.
Montana University finished 3rd in the Big Sky Conference 2023 season while the UC Davis Aggies finished 5th.
The Grizzlies have had a strong season so far. Last week, they defeated the Cal Poly Mustangs 42-7.

Aggies Last Week
UC Davis is coming off another strong game defeating Northern Colorado. The Aggies sailed by the Bears defeating them 59-7.
Aggies quarterback Miles Hastings finished with 285 yards passing, throwing three touchdowns on 20 of 26 passing.
For the first time this season, the Aggies rushed for over 300 yards.
UC Davis running back Lan Larison had another big game running for 143 yards on 14 carries, and scored three touchdowns. He averaged about 10.2 yards per carry.
Larison recorded his fifth 100-yard rushing game of the season.
Aggies linebacker David Meyer was named National Defensive Player of the Week by FCS Nation. He finished with 12 tackles, had 11 stops, and an interception making that his third one of the season.
Meyer was also named the Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
