Sacramento Kings to retire Peja Stojakovic's jersey

Stojakovic's jersey will be retired on Dec. 16 when the Kings face the Thunder.

The jersey of three-time NBA All-Star and NBA Champion Peja Stojakovic's will be retired on Dec. 16 when the Sacramento Kings host the Oklahoma City Thunder an announcement by the Sacramento Kings said.

Stojakovic spent eight seasons with the Kings after he was drafted 14th overall in the first-round of 1996 NBA Draft. The small forward holds a number of records with the Kings. He ranked first in

  • Three-pointers made - 1070
  • Three-pointers attempted - 2,687
  • Free throw percentage - 89 percent

Stojakovic also ranked second on the Kings all-time scoring list with 9,498 points, third in field goals made, 3,352 and attempted, 7,269 and fifth in steals with 543.
