Sacramento Kings guard named Western Conference Player of the Week

De’Aaron Fox helped the Sacramento Kings to a four-game winning streak from Nov. 13 to Nov. 19 averaging 32.3 points in those four games.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento Kings guard, De'Aaron Fox was named the Western Conference Player of the Week, the NBA announced Monday.

He helped Sacramento to a four-game winning streak from Nov. 13 to Nov. 19 averaging 32.3 points in those four games. This is the first time he's earned the honor this season.

Fox has been named Player of the Week three times ahead of this season. With the announcement today he's earned the title four times.

On Sunday against the Dallas Mavericks Fox scored 30 points, his second consecutive 30-point game after scoring 43 points when the Kings beat the San Antonio Spurs 129-120.

He's also been recognized as the NBA Clutch Player of the Year and All-NBA.

The Kings are fourth in the Western Conference, behind the Timberwolves, Thunder and Nuggets.

The Sacramento Kings face the New Orleans Pelicans on the road Monday night at 5 p.m. with a rematch on Wednesday at 5 p.m. 

Jalen Brunson, a guard on the New York Knicks, was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
