SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Malik Monk may be set to stay with the Sacramento Kings in a new four-year, multimillion-dollar deal, according to ESPN reports.
The deal, if signed as reported, could cost the Kings $78 million and lasts four years. Monk and his team were able to "start negotiations after the NBA Finals and avoid free agency with the maximum contract Kings are allowed to pay Monk," according to ESPN reporter Adrian Wojnarowski.
Monk joined the Sacramento Kings in 2022 after leaving Los Angeles.
