SACRAMENTO, California — The Sacramento Kings kickoff the new season in Utah, but all eyes appear to be on their rematch against the Golden State Warriors.
The Kings face their Northern California rivals in their home-opener on Oct. 27. It is among the hottest tickets in the NBA, selling for around $111 on TickPick.
Notably, the Kings busted the longest playoff drought in NBA history last season and squared off against the, at the time, defending champion Warriors in a 7-game series.
In the end, the Warriors overcame the Kings in Game 7 due to an epic 50-point performance from Steph Curry. It was a playoff career high for Curry, and a first-round exit for the Kings in the Golden 1 Center.
According to TickPick, the rematch between the Warriors and Kings on Oct. 27 is one of the highest-priced tickets for a home-opener in the NBA right now. It's only bested by the home-openers for the Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and Boston Celtics.
