The Oakland Raiders announce Thursday they have officially signed free agent running back Doug Martin and fullback Kevin Smith, according to a press release.
Both of these players will add depth in the backfield, which continue to revamp.
Martin, who is a Stockton-native, joins the Raiders after six seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The two-time pro bowler has played in 68 games with Tampa Bay, recording 4,633 rushing yards, 1,091 receiving yards with 28 total touchdowns.
However, Smith joins the Raiders after four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.
The Covina, California native has played in 47 games throughout his career and enetred the NFL as an undrafted free agent.
