TRACY, Calif. — San Francisco 49ers legend and NFL Hall of famer Ronnie Lott teamed up with Tracy Toyota to host nearly 200 attendees for a girls flag football event. This event highlights the many females throughout Northern CA who participate in the sport.
Lott took pictures, signed autographs, and enjoyed a meal with everyone in attendance.
"This is the unique opportunity for a lot of young people to showcase their talent," said Lott. "Sportsmanship is still important. To me, I think this is the great opportunity for all of us to showcase all of our talents, and see young people whether they’re yellow, black, green, you name it, it’s an opportunity for them to be able to say 'I can participate. I can play. And I can win, and I can be a champion."
Toyota and NFL flag football joined to highlight and promote girls flag football.
