Thanksgiving football games 2023 | NFL schedule

The Seattle Seahawks host the San Francisco 49ers in an NFC playoff rematch.

CALIFORNIA, USA — After Thanksgiving dinner is gobbled down and plates with pie are passed all around, football fans can settle in for a playoff rematch to see who could rule the NFC West.

The Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys have become fixtures for the Thanksgiving games.

All the games this Thanksgiving are divisional games and could shake up the current playoff picture.

9:30 a.m. | Green Bay Packers vs Detroit Lions

The first game is between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions starts at 9:30 a.m.

The Lions beat the Packers when they met in the regular season during week 4 with a final score of 34-20. This will be the first Thanksgiving start for Jordan Love, the Packers' quarterback since Aaron Rodgers left for the Jets and subsequently tore his Achilles in week four. The Lions are 8-2 with a 2nd place seed in the NFC Playoffs ranking as of week 11, while the Packers, 4-6, are right on the cusp as the 8th seed.

The Seattle Seahawks are right behind at 6-4 after a one-point loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
