SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento native Jared McCain is now a Philadelphia 76er.
The 76ers took McCain with the 16th overall pick in the draft.
The 6-2 freshman was Duke's toughest competitor and a quality shooter, shooting 41% on 3-pointers and nearly 89% on free throws.
McCain is an excellent shooter off screens and in the pullup game, but can also run the point if needed. He has a high basketball IQ, so should pick up the NBA game fairly quickly.
