AMADOR COUNTY, Calif. — A major crash left two people hurt in Amador County Thursday afternoon, according to officials.
Amador Fire says at least one person has major injuries after a car rolled over on Highway 88 and Dew Drop Bypass outside of Amador Pines. It's unclear what caused the crash.
The Lockwood Fire Protection District says the crash involved only one car and a person was extricated and unconscious. They gave the person CPR and took them via ground ambulance and eventually helicopter to the hospital.
The highway was blocked for some time but traffic in the area has resumed. No other information is available at this time.
