ANTELOPE, Calif. — Four people were taken to the hospital after an Antelope crash Saturday afternoon, according to Sacramento Metro Fire officials.
The crash happened around 3:16 p.m. on Daly Avenue and Roseville Road. Fire officials say five cars were involved in the crash.
California Highway Patrol officials say a white Silverado towing a fully loaded trailer in the westbound lane of Antelope Road near Roseville Road when an elderly man in a Toyota SUV made an unsafe turn from southbound Roseville Road to westbound Antelope Road.
CHP says a white Toyota drove into the Silverado who hit the Toyota SUV and got pushed into a white Miata and Toyota Corolla.
The Silverado drove the wrong way and hit a red Tacoma head on which was then pushed into a Tundra which then hit an Explorer.
The man driving the Tacoma was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries after being extricated. Three other people had minor injuries.
