SOLANO COUNTY, Calif. — Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after their car fell off Interstate 80 in Solano County, overturned and caught fire, according to the Fairfield Fire Department.
The crash happened on I-80 near the Red Top Road offramp. Fire officials say both people were able to get out of the car after it landed on its roof and before it caught fire. They were taken to the hospital.
The Red Top Road on and off ramps are closed while crews work in the area.
