Northbound Interstate 5 reopened in southern Sacramento County

Officials said the roadway was reduced to one temporarily for concrete repairs.

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. — Northbound Interstate 5 was fully reopened in Sacramento County after concrete repairs Wednesday. The repairs happened just north of Twin Cities Road.

According to the Caltrans, the road had a damaged concrete slab that crews replaced with new concrete.

Officials said lanes were at one point closed and then reduced to one lane for the repairs, however, the roadway has since fully reopened.
