SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Caltrans is closing the Northbound 99 to Westbound Highway 50 connector for 55 hours as part of the Fix 50 project happening in Sacramento.
It will be closed from Friday, Oct. 11, at 9 p.m. until Monday, Oct. 14 at 5 a.m.
Here are the suggested detours from Caltrans:
"For northbound SR-99 to westbound US-50. Motorists can take eastbound US-50 to 65th Street, then exit and turn around to westbound US-50. Or, continue eastbound Business 80/SR-51 to N Street, then exit and turn around to westbound Business 80/SR-51 and take the connector ramp to Westbound US-50. Out of area motorists on SR-99 that want to get to westbound US-50 or Interstate 5 (I-5): Use I-5 instead of SR-99."
