STOCKTON, Calif — A pedestrian was hit and killed on northbound Interstate 5 early Wednesday morning in Stockton.
The crash happened around 3 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Traffic was diverted at Hwy 4, but all lanes are now open.
Following the crash, CHP said a patrol car was hit by another vehicle while officials were controlling traffic, however, no one was hurt in that crash.
The identity of the person killed is unknown at this time.
