SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Traffic on the eastbound side of Interstate 80 is snarled following a crash involving two semis and a small sedan, Wednesday morning.
The crash happened on I-80 east, near Norwood Avenue, and has shut down two lanes of the interstate.
Officials with the California Highway Patrol (CHP) said some people were stuck inside the car, between one of the crashed semis and the sound wall. Just after 9 a.m., CHP said everyone who was trapped in the car had been freed. There still has been no word on if anyone was injured in this crash.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined and it is unclear how long the lanes on I-80 will remain closed.
