TRUCKEE, Calif. — Another round of big-time storms will pass through Northern California starting Monday afternoon and into the week. Inches of rain and feet of snow could fall in some parts, and with that comes expected impacts to the highways and byways in the storms’ path.
Here are the current weather conditions and Waze traffic maps on some of the most popular travel routes that could be impacted:
I-80: Interstate 80 is closed from Colfax in Placer County to the Nevada State Line. Due to traction concerns, officials advise motorists to use an alternate route.
A high wind advisory is in effect over the Yolo Causeway and over the Bryte Bend Bridge, west of Sacramento into Yolo County.
US-50: No traffic restrictions are reported for this area.

SR-49:
Closed from Downieville to Sattley in Sierra County - due to traction concerns - motorists are advised to use an alternate route
Chains are required on all vehicles except 4-wheel-drive vehicles with snow tires on all four wheels fBassettsetts to Sattley for local residents only.
Chains or snow tires are required from Sierraville in Sierra County to the Sierra/ Plumas County line.

SR-88:
Closed from 3.5 miles east of Silver Lake to Kirkwood /Carson Spur in Amador County - due to snow - motorists are advised to use an alternate route.
Chains are required on all vehicles except 4-wheel-drive vehicles with snow tires on all four wheels from Silver Lake to Picketts Junction in Alpine County.

SR-20:
Closed 4.6 miles east of Capella at Potter Valley Road in Mendocino County - due to flooding - motorists are advised to use an alternate route.

Closed from Husted Road in Williams to 3.1 miles east of Williams at Lone Star Road Colusa County due to flooding - motorists are advised to use an alternate route.
Closed from Nevada City to the junction of I-80 Nevada County - due to snow - motorists are advised to use an alternate route.
