10-day closure of freeway connector to impact traffic in West Sacramento

The closure starts Friday, Sept. 13. It's part of Caltrans' Yolo Interstate 80 Pavement Rehabilitation Project.

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Construction work continues in Yolo County on Caltrans' Yolo Interstate 80 Pavement Rehabilitation Project causing new closures in West Sacramento.

Starting Friday, Sept. 13 at 9 p.m., the westbound I-80 connector to eastbound Highway 50 will close for 10 days. It's set to reopen by 5 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 23.

Here are the detours provided by Caltrans:

"Use westbound I-80 to southbound I-5 (EXIT 86) through downtown Sacramento for access to westbound US 50. Westbound I-80 to Enterprise Boulevard (EXIT 81) for access to eastbound US 50, and westbound I-80 Reed Avenue (EXIT 83) for access to the city of West Sacramento," Caltrans said.

The eastbound Harbor Boulevard off-ramp will close for 79 hours, from Friday, Sept. 13 at 9 p.m. until Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 5 a.m.
