Yosemite National Park closes as winter storm buries areas with 15 feet of snow

It's not clear when the park will reopen.

YOSEMITE VALLEY, Calif. — Yosemite National Park is closing indefinitely as a potent winter storm slams the area with snow.

Park officials said there's been "significant snowfall" in all areas of the Yosemite National Park, with snow depth up to 15 feet in some areas. 

Park crews are trying to restore services so that visitors will be able to return safely. However, it's not clear when the park will reopen.
