SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A 3.8 magnitude earthquake Tuesday evening struck 17 miles north of Truckee, California according to the USGS.
The quake happened at 6:17 p.m. and was felt through the Sierra foothills near Pollock Pines, according to some people posting on Twitter.
There are no immediate reports of damage.
