M3.6 earthquakes hits near Sonoma County, Lake County line

People reported feeling it in the nearby areas, such as Middletown and Healdsburg.

SONOMA COUNTY, Calif. — A preliminary magnitude 3.6  earthquake has struck in Sonoma County, California, Tuesday.

 The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake struck shortly after 10:50 p.m.

 It was centered near the Sonora County and Lake County line, about two miles southwest of Cobb, California, or about 70 miles west northwest of Sacramento. 

People reported feeling it in the nearby areas, such as Middletown and Healdsburg.  There are no immediate reports of damage.
