SONOMA, Calif. — A preliminary magnitude 4.3 earthquake struck around The Geysers near northern Sonoma County California, Saturday morning.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake struck shortly after 7:30 a.m.
It was centered in The Geysers area, about 12 miles northeast of Healdsburg.
People reported feeling it to the USGS.
A 3.9 magnitude and 2.5 magnitude earthquake also struck around the same time in the area.
The area is known for its geothermal fields, according to the USGS.
