SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Saturday update:
Sacramento city officials announced the opening of two sandbag fill-up locations as this weekend's storm continues to threaten residents with flooding.
Open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., a maximum of 10 sandbags will be allowed per vehicle. The two stations include:
- South Area Corporation Yard
5730 24th Street, Sacramento - North Area Corporation Yard
918 Del Paso Road, Sacramento
The locations come in addition to sandbag stations opened by Sacramento County (see below).

El Dorado County
In El Dorado County, officials are advising residents to bring their own shovels for free sandbags in the following locations Tuesday:

Multiple sandbag locations are available across Stanislaus County in preparation for what officials are describing as a strong, wet system coming Wednesday and Thursday.
Renewed flooding threats to the already-saturated San Joaquin Valley and foothills is leading local officials to advise residents sandbags could be necessary. Locations across the county include:

The Nevada County Office of Emergency Services offers sandbags free sand and sandbags for Nevada County residents every year between Oct. 1 and April 30. They’re available at five locations:
