VACAVILLE, Calif. — Update: July 16, 3:40 p.m.
A power outage at California State Prison, Solano was resolved around 2:10 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, according to prison officials.
The prison had been running on emergency generator power following an outage in Vacaville on July 14.
"The health and safety of all individuals living and working within our institution, and in our community are our top priorities. This outage did not compromise security at SOL," the California Department of Correction and Rehabilitation said a statement.

Crews are trying to restore power to California State Prison Solano after a major outage happened Sunday in Vacaville.
"The health and safety of all individuals living and working within our institution and in our community are our top priorities. This outage does not compromise security at SOL, and we are working to promptly address the needs of our population," a California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation spokesperson told ABC10.
The prison is currently operating on emergency generator power while staff makes sure medical and mental health care remains accessible. Medical staff are also making rounds to monitor the well-being of the inmates.
Running water, ice and cooling fans were made available to help manage heat-related concerns.
PG&E has been on-site since the outage began along with the prison's high-voltage contractor. It's not clear when power will be restored.
