CALIFORNIA, USA — Some schools in Northern California are canceling classes due to extreme weather impacts.
Some districts only have a handful of school campuses closed as opposed to the entire district. Others are opting for a later start to the school day.

- All sites are closed Friday due to the weather. After-school activities are canceled for the day. Students can be picked up or use district transportation.
Camino Union School District
- All sites are closed Friday due to the weather.
Pollock Pines Elementary School District
- All sites are closed Friday due to the weather.
Silver Fork School District
- All sites are closed Friday due to the weather.
Calaveras Unified School District
- Calaveras Unified School District said West Point Elementary is closed Friday due to the weather.
Black Oak Mine Unified School District
- Black Oak Mine Unified School District is closed Friday due to icy road conditions and snow.
Pioneer Union School District
- Pioneer Union School District is closed Friday for a snow day due to weather.
Gold Oak Union School District
- Gold Oak Union School District said Pleasant Valley Middle School and Gold Oak Elementary School will not have school due to snow accumulation.
Foresthill Divide School
- Foresthill Divide School is closed Friday along with practices, meetings and kids club.
Pleasant Ridge Union School District
- Pleasant Ridge Union School District is closed due to poor road conditions.
Nevada City School District
- All schools in the Nevada City School District are closed on Friday.
Indian Diggings School District
- Indian Diggings School District is closed at all sites on Friday.
Curtis Creek School
- Curtis Creek School will be closed on Friday.
Grass Valley School District
- All schools and programs in the Grass Valley School District will be closed Friday due to the storm and low snow levels.
Late Starts
El Dorado Union High School District
- Union Mine High School, El Dorado High School and Independence High School are in a two-hour late start. buses will use alternative "satellite stops" due to weather.
Placerville Union School District
- Placerville Union School District will have a one-hour delay in start time for all schools.
Bus Routes Impacted
Calaveras Unified School District
- Calaveras Unified School District said Thursday night that routes 14,16,17 and 35 are canceled Friday due to weather.
