SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Northern California finishes October and begins November with no rain.
This weekend will have lots of sunshine and feel great, but it will also include warm weather. For Saturday and Sunday morning, the day will start off chilly with lows in the 40s and clear skies. For the Sierra, it will be in the teens and 20s.
Wind will be on the lighter side for both days and sets up a perfect Halloween forecast. The day will be warm, in the upper 70s, and close to record high temperatures. The sun will set at 6:06 p.m. and shortly after, the weather will cool into the 60s during traditional trick-or-treat times.
Sunday at 2 a.m., we move back to standard time and lose one hour of daylight Sunday evening, but the sun comes up earlier. The sun will rise at 6:33 a.m. Sunday and set at 5:05 p.m.
The high on Sunday will be close to 80 and near records again.
There is no rain in the forecast for most of next week. Saturday will see the first slight chance of rain. Temperatures will cool next weekend as well, close to 70 for a high on the first Saturday of November.
