STOCKTON, Calif. — Two men were arrested in connection to a deadly shooting in Stockton from December.
The Stockton Police Department said the shooting was reported in the area of South Grant Street and East Clay Street just after 3:40 p.m. on Dec. 17.
Arriving officers found a man, 31, and a woman, 32, both with gunshot wounds. The woman died from her injuries, but the man was expected to survive.
Police said Cesar Lopez, 38, and Luis Lopez, 39, were arrested in Phoenix, Arizona and Rupert, Idaho, respectively.
Both suspects were extradited back to California and were booked into the county jail on suspicion of homicide.
