STOCKTON, Calif. — The Stockton Police Department is investigating two shootings that took place Saturday.
Officers responded to a call in the 200 block of South Union Street to find a 41-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds, according to the police department. The victim said he was shot three hours before officers arrived. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Stockton police said the suspect is a Hispanic man in his late forties.
Officers also responded to a shooting at East Church Street and South Hunter Street, according to the department.
The 20-year-old victim was at the location when an unknown suspect began shooting at him. He was struck four times in his midsection, according to Stockton police. He was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition. No suspect description was provided by the victim.
