FAIRFIELD, Calif. -- Fairfield Police said after speaking with witnesses, they believe Cirilo Martinez Tellez was driving under the influence when he struck his 2-year-old nephew and drove away Sunday afternoon.
Tellez, 32, was booked into the Solano County Jail on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and felony hit-and-run causing death. Police say they will continue to investigate claims that Tellez was driving under the influence.
"We will present a case to the Solano County District Attorney for review to consider additional charges of murder, felony driving under the influence causing death, and violating probation," department officials said in a release on Sunday.
Update: 7:00 p.m.
Fairfield police say Cirilo Martinez Tellez has been found. Police say he was found at the scene.
Tellez was wanted for vehicular manslaughter and for leaving the scene of a deadly crash that killed a two-year-old.

A Fairfield man is being sought by police after he left the scene of a deadly crash that killed a two-year-old, authorities said.
Police say Cirilo Martinez Tellez, 32, is wanted for vehicular manslaughter and for leaving the scene of a deadly crash that killed a two-year-old. According to police, the crash happened on the 1400 block of West Texas Street on Sunday afternoon around 2 p.m.
Tellez was last seen wearing all grey clothes, and police say he currently has a Mohawk and goatee, which means he looks different than the picture they are currently sharing of him.
Fairfield police say the vehicle involved in the crash is in their custody, but they don't know if Tellez has access to other vehicles. Police say Tellez has ties to Fairfield and Solano County and Oroville and Butte County.
Police are asking people not to approach or contact him if he's seen. Anyone who sees him can call 707-428-7300.
