HOMEWOOD, Calif. — Placer County Sheriff's Office deputies identified a person of interest in a shooting near Homewood that left a person in the hospital Monday.
Officials say Luis Sanchez-Cabada, 26, knows the victim and he frequents the Tahoe and Reno areas.
The shooting happened around in the area of West Lake Boulevard and Silver Street Monday and deputies took the victim to the hospital. The person is expected to survive their injuries, but few other details are available.
