MODESTO, Calif. — A Modesto woman accused of killing her four-year-old daughter is also facing a charge of attempted murder toward her son.
The Stanislaus County District Attorney's Office said Mina Nazari, 34 of Modesto, was charged with stabbing and killing her four-year-old daughter. Authorities said the stabbing happened on Oct. 14 along the 3900 block of Scenic Drive.
The four-year-old was found dead inside their apartment unit.
However, officials announced an additional charge. The district attorney's office is also pursuing charges of attempted murder on her 10-year-old son. The circumstances surrounding the charge aren't clear at this time.
