Minor injured after shooting in Woodland

Two boys were shot at on Saturday evening as they were getting out of their car.

WOODLAND, Calif. — A shooting in Woodland left one boy injured while he was getting out of a car.

Police said two boys were shot at on Saturday evening, just before 9 p.m. on the 300 block of Bright Day Drive. 

Woodland police said one the boys was struck by gunfire, but his injuries were considered to be non life-threatening. He was taken to the UC Davis Medical Center for treatment.

The other boy was not injured.

Police are still looking for a motive and a suspect in the shooting. Anyone with information on the shooting can call 530-661-7850.
