SACRAMENTO, Calif — Two more people were arrested in connection with a Meadowview shooting that sent five people to the hospital.
The shooting happened May 27 in the area of Coral Gables Court and Meadowview Road. Four adults and one minor were shot and taken to the hospital. All were in stable condition by the end of the night and expected to survive.
Jayovanni Head, one of the people shot that night, was arrested May 29 as a potential suspect in the shooting. He was arrested on suspicion of felony assault-related charges.
Police announced two other arrests June 3. Charles Head, 42, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and 29-year-old India Thomas was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Police said neither Thomas nor Head were among those shot May 27.
Both suspects were booked into the county jail.
