FAIRFIELD, California — 4:13 p.m. update:
Fairfield police report on Nixle, that the fire burned 24 acres.
3:20 p.m. update:
The Solano County Sheriff's Office announced that all evacuations have been lifted. The roads are still closed to the general public but residents are allowed back into their neighborhood.

The Fairfield Fire Department is responding to a grass fire in the foothills south of the city.
As of 1:30 Friday afternoon, the department reported the fire in a grassy hilly area. It started at about 12:40 p.m. The Solano County Sheriff's Office issued a mandatory evacuation for homes on Cordelia Road between Thommason Lane and Link Road. All homes on Thommason Lane are also under mandatory evacuations.
Officials don't have an estimate of acreage. Fairfield Police have asked people to avoid the area so that fire equipment can get in and out.
The Solano County Sheriff's Office said in a 1:30 p.m. Facebook post that :Cordelia Road is closed between Hale Ranch and Link Road.
