ROSEVILLE, Calif. — The air in Roseville will soon be filled with the scent of sizzling steak on the grill as two steakhouses are set to open their doors across the street from each another.
The first one set to open is Fogo de Chão, an upscale Brazillian steakhouse known for the culinary art of Churrasco, and a modern atmosphere with meat carved tableside.
“Fogo is famed for its Full Churrasco Experience that offers a continuous selection of premium cuts butchered daily by gaucho chefs, simply seasoned and grilled to create a crave-able salty bark, then carved tableside,” a spokesperson for the restaurant said. “This culinary experience separates us from surrounding restaurants.”
Just across the street, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is expected to open its doors in what used to be Pier 1 Imports.
The menu has options like prime steaks, seafood, market salads and a list of over 100 different wines.
"Everyone enjoys an escape, even if it’s only two hours. When people walk through our doors, we respect that, and we are really honored that they choose us for their escape,” reads Fleming’s website. “We want to do everything we can, to not just to meet their expectations, but to exceed them.”
While the two are different kinds of steakhouses, the proximity has caught the attention of people online.
“We were aware of the surrounding restaurants when we made the decision to open a restaurant at the Roseville location. We offer an elevated churrasco dining experience that separates us from the surrounding restaurants and makes us a culinary destination in Roseville,” Puder said. “We decided to open at this location because there is an increasing demand for unique and immersive dining experiences in the area."
Both steakhouses are located near the Westfield Galleria Mall in Roseville on a busy strip filled with different restaurants.
“What differentiates us is how our associates make our guests feel. Whether it's a business dinner or a personal celebration, there's an expectation to overdeliver,” says Fleming's website.
Fogo de Chão is expected to be open by 2025 and will be located at 1104 Galleria Blvd.
Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar has not said when it expects to be open but construction has started. It will be located at 1101 Galleria Blvd.
