FOLSOM, Calif. — Emmy award-winning actor Henry Winkler is coming to Folsom.
Winkler will visit the Harris Center, a performing arts center at Folsom Lake College, at 7:30 p.m. on March 15, 2024, to promote his autobiography, “Being Henry: The Fonz . . . and Beyond,” and discuss roughly 50 years in Hollywood.
"Each ticket purchase includes a meet and greet and a copy of my book, which I will be happy to sign," Winkler said on social media.
He also wrote a variety of children’s books, including “Niagara Falls, or Does It?” and the “Alien Superstar” trilogy with his co-author Lin Oliver.
He visits The Curran Theater in San Francisco on Monday, according to Winkler’s X account. He visits Portland, Oregon, on Dec. 12, and Los Angeles on Dec. 14.
Winkler won his first Emmy in 2018 for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for playing Gene Cousineau in “Barry,” created by Bill Hader and Alec Berg.
He has been nominated for 10 Emmys throughout his career; his first came in 1976 for playing Arthur Fonzarelli in “Happy Days,” while his most recent was in January 2023, also for “Barry.”
