FOLSOM, Calif. — A Mexican-Hawaiian fusion restaurant formerly occupying a space on Oak Avenue in Folsom is no longer affiliated with the location, the business announced Sunday.
Holaloha Fusion Restaurant and Bar said it is no longer associated with 9580 Oak Ave., and its last event there was a Mother’s Day luau on May 12, according to an Instagram post by the restaurant. The business hosted its grand opening at the location in February, ABC10 previously reported.
Holaloha said it has switched over to catering and mobile food sales with its new facility, “Da Tiki Hut.”
“Catch us all summer at local breweries and catering private parties,” Holaloha wrote in its Instagram bio.
A bar and restaurant still operates at the Oak Avenue location. It is open for food and drink seven days a week:
- 4:30-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday
- 4:30-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday
- 3-10 p.m. Sundays
Representatives for the location told ABC10 on Monday they are working on a name change and will decide one in the coming days. Under different management, the space was formerly Canyon Grill and Alehouse, which closed during or around December 2023.
