SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man is now in custody and accused of killing his girlfriend in a South Sacramento stabbing Sunday morning.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, it happened around 6:30 a.m. on the 6300 block of Leola Way.
The sheriff’s office says deputies responded to Kaiser South after hospital staff called them about a woman who had been dropped off with ‘numerous suspicious injuries,’ who died shortly thereafter.
Deputies say that through their investigation they believe the victim’s 29-year-old boyfriend Paul Barclay was responsible for her injuries. He was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
