ORANGEVALE, Calif. — A 21-year-old man is facing DUI and child endangerment charges after a crash in Orangevale Wednesday sent four people to the hospital.
California Highway Patrol said the crash happened near Chestnut Avenue around 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers say the 21-year-old was driving a Honda Odyssey and appeared to be under the influence when he lost control of the vehicle and it overturned hitting a tree.
His four passengers; a 23-year-old woman, 4-year-old girl, 3-year-old boy and 6-month-old baby were taken to the hospital. The woman had major injuries while the three children had minor injuries.
CHP says the driver was not injured and was arrested at the scene.
