SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The motorcyclist killed in a Sunday afternoon crash in midtown Sacramento has been identified.
According to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office, he was 55-year-old Jose Louis Silva. His death was classified as a criminal motor vehicle accident.
ABC10 asked Sacramento police about the possibility of criminal charges against the other driver. They said it’s part of their investigation.
The crash happened around noon Sunday near 24th and J streets. Debris could be seen in front of Rick’s Dessert Diner.
Silva died from his injuries at the hospital.
