SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Some Chipotle locations in the Sacramento area are welcoming customers to test their new chipotle honey chicken ahead of a potential nationwide launch.
Fifty-five restaurants throughout parts of Northern California - as well as 25 Nashville locations - are the test restaurants for the new menu item.
“Chipotle honey chicken is marinated with seared, smoked adobo (chipotle) peppers, seasoned with savory Mexican spices, and finished with a touch of pure honey,” said a spokesperson.
In previous years, Chipotle added two new meats to their menu after Chicken Al Pastor and Pollo Asado sparked a lot of interest from customers.
